To correctly set the engine timing during timing chain maintenance.
Cylinder head repairs, replacing the cylinder head gasket, etc.
Includes the following tools.
Crankshaft locking tool as OEM 118570 / 119190.
Camshaft locking tool as OEM 119890.
Thumbscrew as OEM 119891.
Push-down bar as OEM 119892.
Snap gauge for inlet and exhaust as OEM - 119893.
Spacers as OEM 119894
An engine specific tool kit that is required to perform camshaft and VANOS timing on BMW N63 and S63 engines.
The kit includes the following:
Camshaft Alignment Fixtures: Two camshaft alignment jigs to fix the camshafts in the TDC orientation during assembly.
Crankshaft TDC Pin: Top dead center pin to align the flywheel at the TDC position
VANOS Timing Tools: Three fixtures Required to time the VANOS System.
Equivalent to factory tools 119890, 118090, 118570 and 119190.
