Before removing the airbag always disconnect the vehicle battery and observe any recommended waiting times. Refer to manufacturers instruction
Lower the steering column to its lowest and rear most position to gain access to the release lever hole.
Insert the tool as shown and release the airbag by levering the holding spring away as shown
